I am sitting in my E3 (entrepreneurship) class and we are talking about financing our businesses. Right now, my business is estimated to cost me about $260,000 in the first year (including salaries, rent, computers, etc…). I certainly don’t have $260,000 or any amount of money close to that, but I don’t feel worried and still feel confident in my business’s abilities. Maybe I’m being overconfident, or I’m not truly taking everything into account, but I really feel that there will be some way to fund my business in the opening years.
November is upon us, in what seems to be record time, and I am loving it. Fall is the best season in New England, no questions asked.
I know I have been slacking with posts, I will attempt to get back into it, but no promises.
I got a call from Small Army a couple weeks ago, asking that I come in for an interview, and I told them that I had taken a position with AMP, but I would love to come in to talk and go over the possibility of a possible spring internship. The woman that I was talking to sounded pleased with the idea, so I gave her my e-mail address so she could send me a date to come in… it has been about three weeks since that conversation and still no e-mail… this seemed strange to me. I even called back and left her a voicemail, still no call.
